Over the years, I have developed a ritual, a way of tapping into the moon’s energy to connect to a deeper source… that all-knowing, higher version of myself. And tonight’s super moon on 14th November offers us an incredible opportunity to harness the power of the moon’s energy even more.
This ritual has served me extremely well over the years. I hope it will help you too in setting yourself up for an amazing month ahead.
Full Moon Ritual
On the eve of the full moon, take a glass filled with coconut water (or your favorite non-dairy milk) and sit in the moonlight. Do this outdoors or with the windows open, if possible.
Settle into a comfortable cross-legged position, close your eyes and focus on your breath. Set you intention to connect to the moon’s energy and just bask in the moonlight.
Take a few moments to visualise what you would like to focus on in the coming month. Think about the qualities you need to cultivate to manifest this.
Take hold of your glass in both hands and ask the moon to imbibe your drink with these qualities. Leave the glass in the direct moonlight overnight.
Drink your moon-infused cocktail first thing when you wake up the next day and get set for a magical month ahead.

If you are, then I hope you can join me for a Yoga Nidra Workshop! I’m running two in in November: on Saturday, 12th November and 19th November from 2.00 – 4.30pm at The Wellness Centre – Castle Quay. This simple yet profound practice will leave you feeling completely refreshed and blissed out!
I will be guiding your body to deeply relax as your mind stays awake and alert. This induces a complete state of relaxation. Indeed, one hour of Yoga Nidra is said to be as restorative as up to four hours of normal sleep.
We will explore how Yoga Nidra works and the many benefits it has to offer. We’ll then do a gentle flow to relax the body and release any tension before coming into a deep state of relaxation. I’ve been working on this new meditation for a few weeks and it is the most powerful yet. Just to give you a little hint… you will be floating in the clouds…
There will be time for questions at the end, over a cup of yogi tea and the most delicious (dairy-free) chocolate in the world (I’m serious!).
